Howdy folks and welcome to week 20!! We can’t believe we’re here….where did the season go? Anyhow, we’ve got a fun box of veggies for you this week and it includes two different types of delicata squash! Honey Boat is the darker fleshed one and the lighter fleshed one is your traditional delicata. They’re both sweet, nutty and delicious and the best part is that the skins are edible. No need to peel! We also have watermelon radishes making their seasonal debut. They’re spicy and so beautiful!! We love thinly slicing them and topping salads, ramen, or adding to slaws or sandwiches. This week we also have white icicle radishes which are a fun cousin to the traditional red rounds that you’ve gotten all season long. Tomatoes are back for a brief stint along with the usual suspects. We hope you all enjoy this week’s harvest!
Happy cooking and eating everyone!
