2022 Harvest 12

Howdy folks and welcome to week 12! As the summer crops start becoming available (tomatoes, corn, peppers, eggplants, etc.) you’ll start slowly getting them in your boxes soon. We have them in the fields but not quite enough for all boxes just yet but we assure you they are coming! Until then, we hope you enjoy this week’s haul!

2022 Harvest 11

Howdy folks and welcome to week 11! We hope you all enjoyed last week’s haul and are ready for the first week of August’s bounty. A few changes— we’re going to start having the garlic available in a crate at pick up so that it doesn’t get so wet (and anything that goes into a pint (like cherry tomatoes or peppers) so make sure you look out for the crate of garlic today at pick up and grab it after you fill your bags with what’s in your box. Another thing, last week we harvested the broccoli in extreme heat. It looked great when we were packing boxes but we learned it quickly deteriorated once packed up. We sincerely apologize— the heat is a new challenge over the past few years and we’re learning as we go.

Blistered Green Beans & Tomatoes (this is one of the best recipes for green beans!)

Simple Stewed Zucchini & Onions (this is such a lovely summer side dish)

Zucchini Lime Vinaigrette (this is so tasty!)

Braised Celery with White Wine, Anchovies & Tomatoes (the best way to cook up celery!)
